Barony of Godney in the county of Somerset

Being sold by Nobility.co.uk

Be very careful as I have completed in-depth research and cannot find any historical documents or information relating to any such Barony. It does not exist. I have checked all the baronial files for baronies in Somerset and the Barony of Godney does not exist in any record. Manuscripts before the 17th  century were written in Latin.  The manuscripts that Nobility have detailed on their website you would need to check out and get translated.  No records of this barony can be found. Therefore the price tag they have is to defraud the purchaser.  An old deed manuscript is a historical document which will confirm who held the title at the date of the manuscript. It does not prove that the current holder actually owns the title. It is a historical document of interest only.

The title of LORD OF THE MANOR OF GODNEY is held by GUY CHARLES KERBY

who holds a 16th century deed to this title
